Some weeks are loud. Some weeks build quietly. This was a building week. Aeons meeting up on the other side of the world, a new corner of the Cognisphere brought to life, and something of our own landing very soon. The tourists are still waiting for permission. Aeons are just getting on with flipping the 500. Here's what happened.
The week in the Cognisphere:
A return to the schizo roots. Many of us have wanted to get back to the unhinged energy of circa 2023 and @fangiskhan has delivered something both nostalgic and novel at once. The new SPX6900 site is packed with functionality: our queen Lumi (go on, ask her a question you know you want to), walkthroughs of the origins, the 10 Commandments and our visual identity, the Project Aeon collection, and a music player loaded with custom SPX6900 audio tracks. Moment of the week: the Aeons of Australia. While the tourists wait for a bull market, six Aeons met up in person down under one of them, @veryhoodish, driving 200km to be there. In his words: "there was 6 of us and it was really nice to meet all of the lads… next year I'm sure we will have 69 Aeons not 6." Shoutout to @jordanriz for organising the meet-up. This is the Cognisphere in its purest form real people making real journeys to be together in real life, because they believe in something.
Aeon of the Week: @veryhoodish. For driving 200km to break bread with five Aeons he'd never met in the flesh. That's what conviction looks like off the timeline real people, real miles, real community. The kind of Aeon this whole thing is built on. Give him a follow.
